Module 01 · Projects

The record of what you are building.

Projects is where a development is defined once and every other module reads from it. Towers, floor plates, unit attributes, statutory paperwork, brochures and approved plans all hang off a single record — set up through a four-step wizard instead of typed in four hundred times.

Setup

Four steps, then the unit master exists.

A project is created through a guided wizard rather than a blank form. The last step generates every unit in the development from the floor plate — so a 36-unit tower is defined once and stacked, not typed thirty-six times.

Why generation, not entry

Hand-entering four hundred units is four hundred chances to get an area, a facing or a price wrong. Every one of those eventually reaches a buyer through a quote that has to be withdrawn.

01
Project
Name, location, land extent, statutory identifiers, target dates.
02
Towers
Blocks, floors per block, and the units on a typical floor plate.
03
Generate units
The floor plate stacked across floors, attributes and pricing applied.
04
Collateral
Brochures, approved plans and the documents sales is allowed to send.
The unit master

Every flat, with the attributes a buyer actually asks about.

The unit is the atom of the whole system. Inventory draws it, Sales matches against it, Approvals clears the project it belongs to.

Identity

Block, floor, unit number — unique within the project

Area

Carpet, built-up and saleable, each stored separately

Configuration

Bedrooms, bathrooms, balconies

Facing

Direction, as a fixed set the search can filter on

Parking

Slots allotted to the unit

Price

Base rate, floor rise and charges, computed — not typed per unit

Status

Available, held, booked or sold — changed only by a transition

Also in Projects

The paperwork that belongs to the development, not to a person.

Statutory identifiers and dates
RERA registration, planning permission references and completion dates live on the project record, where Approvals and Sales both read them.
The asset vault
Brochures, approved plans, floor plates and price lists, versioned and attached to the project. Sales sends the current one because there is only one current one.
Pricing as a rule, not a column
Base rate, floor rise and charges are applied as a schema across the tower. A price revision is one change, not four hundred edits.
Location, and what is near it
Projects carry coordinates, which is what lets Inventory offer a unit in a nearby development when this one has nothing matching.
Next step

See it against your own project.

A walkthrough runs on your data — one real approval, one live tower, last week’s enquiries. Forty minutes, no slides.
